With Christmas coming up, and Black Friday (if I can get my post up soon enough), I thought I’d share some items and sales that I’ve found for the little babies in your life, and the Mamas/moms-to-be that need some love too! Really, these gifts can work for any women in your life... or treat yourself!
None of these are sponsored: just items I truly like & people I want to support!

Small/Local/Christian owned Businesses:
Urban Elegantz:
Daisy has been a best friend of mine since preschool, and now she’s in college for fashion and design; she has her own handmade line of jackets too! I am so incredibly proud of her!

The Wellness Doula:
Kristina Rigsby, business owner of New Joy Doula Services, has recently created an etsy shop for her aromatherapy products! I’ve used the anxiety roller (and I love it!!)

Adry’s Boutique:
Adriana Griffin (on facebook) sells the cutest bows! She’s in Fredericksburg, but I believe she does shipping too! Just got in touch with her this week about getting Amelia and I matching headbands. Soooooo excited!!

Steadfast Trail Farm: Handcrafted Soap https://steadfasttrailfarm.com/
(hey, hubby, if you’re reading this I really want their soaps 😘)
Now this was shared by a close friend, and I love the work that this small business does! This is what my friend had to say about it: “Steadfast Trail Farm is owned by a woman I know- she does horse therapy with kids with disabilities and her products are amazing!! I’ve been buying and gifting her soaps and she just branched out to bath bombs and candles and body butters too. All natural, good clean ingredients only. She has gift boxes that I’m buying this year!“

Heidis Homemade Soaps
https://etsy.me/34Z0uP0 Another great, local soap/beauty option: recommended by my mother-in-law!

Meadows Valley Design:
Jamie Meadows is a part of the MOMs church group I attend! She has the cutest “Cookies for Santa” plate on sale right now. All her items are handmade!

Clairations:
FCS alumni like myself, Claire Derr, makes some wonderful handcrafted/woodburned items. It’s really impressive!

Sugar Doodle

Local handcrafted cookies that are true works of art!

Crafted by a Queen:
“And then another local friend is selling items she’s making on Etsy- she’s hoping to get into full time crafting, but is just starting out! She can do a lot of custom things (even if it’s not in her store)” (Recommended by a close friend of mine).

I Crochet So Hard:
instagram: @icrochetsohard
My blanket for my baby girl is beat up from kittens, but it’s the best material, and it even comes with machine washable instructions (which is great when spit up
is involved). I know she also does hats and purses and a variety of other products!

Brackish Fibers
My cousin, Kaya Creager, also crochets! Amelia sure is spoiled with wonderful blankets.

NeeSee’s Dresses:
Guys, I don‘t know them personally, they’re based in Wyoming, but I have been obsessed with this boutique. They’re Christian owned: motto “Always modest. Always Beautiful,” and I am in love with almost everything they sell. I literally have a cart full of $2000 worth of items just sitting there. Never gonna be able to afford a clothing haul that big, but one day I hope I can collab/rep for them; that would be cool! They have great holiday t-shirts as well as casual, semi-formal, and formal dresses.

Faithful & Co.
A more casual Christian owned boutique for the comfy moms and grandmas out there. I already purchased two items for special ladies in my life for the upcoming celebrations! Right now if you sign up for emails and texts you get BOGO 50% off their items: which is STACKED on top of their 50% off sale already!

Her Journal:
Samantha Flores’ small business includes support for postpartum mamas with a unique program designed to guide mamas in this new chapter of life and find relief in the postpartum storm.

Cherry On Top Design:
Jewelry recommended by my mother in law! Handmade by her friend.

Other Items and Sales:
A lot of these are must haves I have found useful with Amelia these last few months, and the other stuff seems like gifts any mom would appreciate!
For Mama:
- My Friend Brittleigh Wayne is having a Pink Friday Mary Kay sale!
- My mother in law’s affiliate link with The Earthling Co. will give you a discount on cool soap bars and shampoos
- VICTORIAS SECRET IS NOW OFFERING NURSING BRAS AND MATERNITY PANTIES!!!! (can you tell how thrilled I am?) They always have some sort of sale on Black Friday, so nursing mama’s go check em out! - aerie has a 10 for $35 panty deal rightnow; that’s way better than the typical 5 for $35 that competing stores usually offer! Plus, they’re so soft!
- American Eagle has 40% off store wide, but what I think the mom’s would be happy to hear is they have BOGO 50% off jeans… the jeans I wanna talk about are their “curvy” style jean. A postpartum mama’s best friend with extra stretch where you need it, haha!
For Baby:
- Carters 50%-60% Black Friday Sale
- Target BOGO free Black Friday toys
These are some bigger ticket items that may not be a “can’t live without” product: like diapers and wipes… but they have been “life changing/makes being a mom way easier” items:
- A pac-and-play with changing station and bassinet
- A baby bjorn
- An Ergo Baby Carrier
- Ball Pit/Tent/Play-mat
- 4Moms Swing/regular baby swing
- Sensory toys
- Cute baby plates, bowls, and silverware
(Diapers and wipes will NEVER go out of style, though)
This is a great list of small businesses to support! I especially like the comfy mom clothes and the cute bow headbands! Christmas shopping ideas are always so helpful.
I love that you included small business’ in this post! I will definitely check some of these out when Christmas shopping online this season 😊
These are great tips, I love the idea of shopping small this year. I will be sure to check out some of these shops! Especially useful with the shipping crisis. Thank you!
